Durham Fencing Centre is holding a female fencing course for new or novices to the sport!

This is a 4 week course starting 16th April 8-10pm. Ages 18yrs and over. Each week you will learn the techniques, tactics and movements of this exciting Olympic sport! No previous experience necessary!

Your coach will be Beth Cranston-Selby who has two international coaching diplomas from the FIE and a gold medallist from the World, European and Commonwealth Fencing Championships.

Why fencing?

Fencing is a great sport for all ages and is a unique combination of exercise that can help develop strength; flexibility; cognitive function and cardiovascular system! Fencing is very much known as a ‘sport for non-sporty people!’ Accessible for those who have a lower limb disability or wheelchair user with good upper body ability.
